She’s had a camera in her hand since she was a little girl. It all started with disposables, worked its way to a pink camcorder, then to her first point and shoot camera in the 7th grade. Since then, photography has been a huge part of her life. It wasn't until after she graduated high school that she bought her first DSLR canon camera, just before heading off to college. She studied photography at Grand Valley State University for about two years. While there, she learned the ins and outs of many old film cameras. She learned to develop her own film and to print her own photographs.
